The launch of dentistry.CPD-HQ.com on 28th April at the Birmingham School of Dentistry was marked by a keynote lecture given by Professor F.J.T. Burke entitled ‘Black and White; no longer a grey area’.

Professor Burke debated whether we are in sight of a replacement of dental amalgam. After reviewing the objectivity of safety concerns regarding amalgam and the evolution of composite alternatives he will consider just how close we are to having a real, viable and universally applicable alternative to amalgam. The launch event was attended by just over 100 practitioners and invited guests.
