Introduction
CPD-HQ Ltd is a spinout company from the University
of Birmingham, created by the e-learning team at the School of Dentistry.
Its aim is to satisfy the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) needs
of professionals through the delivery of high quality learning material via
the Web, in a time-friendly modular format with emphasis on interactivity
and self-assessment.
Just 20 minutes a week:The key to our approach is a one-stop site offering a range of challenging learning modules. Designed to exploit the power of online learning, they will enable dentists to complete their statutory requirement with a time commitment of just 20 minutes per week and have confidence in the quality of the material. |
Experience and quality:The initial target of the company is to draw on over a decade of experience in developing high quality dental web-based learning material and satisfy the requirement for dentists to complete at least 15 hours of verified CPD in order to remain registered with the General Dental Council.
